Search & Navigation

The dashboard offers several ways to find content and move around quickly, from a sitewide search and replace to keyboard shortcuts.

Search and Replace

The Search view in the dashboard sidebar finds text across the content and settings of all pages and Global Data and Files. The results are grouped by page and show each matching field. The search field can be refined with the following options:

  • Regex interprets the search text as a regular expression.
  • Upper / Lower Case makes the search case-sensitive.

To replace text, enter the new text in the Replace field, select the results that should be changed and click Replace selected. Use Select all and Deselect all to change the selection quickly.

Jumpbar

The jumpbar is the fastest way to open any page or view of the dashboard. Click Search or open or press Ctrl + J (Cmd + J on macOS) and start typing. The list contains all pages, with their titles and URLs, as well as views such as Global Data and Files, Components, Drafts, Packages, Trash and the sections of the System Settings.

The first entry of the list always searches for the text you have typed, which opens the Search view with the results.

Keyboard Shortcuts

The following shortcuts are available in the dashboard. On macOS, use Cmd instead of Ctrl.
