RSS Feed
Automad can automatically generate an RSS feed of your pages. The option is enabled by default. The URL of your feed can be found in the feed settings. Just drag any text field from the bottom list to the top one in order to add it to the feed content. To remove a field from the feed, just moved it to the bottom area. Fields can also be sorted.
Feed Configuration
You can add any text or block field that is used in any of the templates on your site to the feed. The selected fields will be used to render the main body of a feed item. Its description is generated automatically by using the first paragraph that is found in the rendered item content.
Changing the Server URL
In some scenarios it might be neccassary to manually define the actual server name and scheme in use in order to adjust the generated links in your feed content. You can set a custom server name by adding the following line to your configuration file:
"AM_SERVER": "https://domain.com"
Navigate to System Settings → Configuration File in the Dashboard in order to edit the configuration.
Linking to your Feed
In order to create a menu item that links to your RSS feed, you can easily create a new page and use the feed URL as a value for the Redirect page to another URL field.
